Worship Lab

We offer Worship Lab for children and youth in 5th grade and up. The 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, our older kids and youth will go upstairs to the youth commons to build community, hear about different aspects of worship, and ask questions about faith. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays, they will remain in the sanctuary where they’ll be invited to sit together or with their grown ups (the back table will “close” after the children’s moment), and they’ll have questions that they can answer. There will also be a basket of miscellany (candy, tattoos, stickers, etc) that they can choose from as soon as they tell the basket holder what they heard or noticed in worship that morning (up to 3 each week). The goal for this is to get youth more acclimated to worship itself, learn more about why we do what we do, and give space to develop their own thoughts and opinions about worship itself.

Please fill out an activity permission form for each of your children/youth ( ‘tis the season!). It really does help keep everything moving smoothly on this end!
