A lifelong Disciple, Rev. Allison Ruari began serving as co-minister in April 2023. Born in Washington state and raised in Indiana, she is a graduate of Occidental College and Vanderbilt University Divinity School. She has served congregations in Indiana, Ohio, and Tennessee. Most of her non-church time is spent parenting Silas and Julian and occasionally watch a TV show or two. She looks forward to a season in her life where she’ll be able to watch sports (basketball and rugby are her favorite), read books for fun, and sing in a choir again.

Rev. Jared Ruari began serving as co-minister in 2023. Raised in Michigan, he attended Kenyon College and Vanderbilt University Divinity School. Ordained UCC, he has served both Disciples and UCC congregations. When he’s not parenting Silas and Julian, he plays keyboard, guitar, and pedal steel, and enjoys reading speculative fiction.

They are married to each other and both are thrilled to serve a congregation that seeks to embody true community, practice deep Christian Spirituality, and pursue a passion for justice.
