9 a.m. Sunday Classes for Adults
The study, "Peter, Learning to be Like Jesus," will begin Sept. 26.
Forum series "Speaking Peace" begins Oct. 3
For children
Children Worship and Wonder (ages 3-7) start meeting Sept. 12. They gather upstairs after the Children's Moment in the 10:15 service on Sundays. Young Disciples (grades 3-5) will begin meeting Sept. 26.
For youth
Our middle school youth will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning Sept. 21.
High school youth will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings beginning Sept. 26. In addition, there are regular opportunities for learning, fellowship and fun.
In addition to our local church programs, there are regional youth events such as river rally, snow rally, regional prom, and summer camp. There are also opportunities to serve the wider community and world with a spring break mission trip and fall food drive.
Weekday education
Various workshops and classes are held throughout the year to build and strengthen faith foundations and empower us to live and serve faithfully.These growth opportunities are announced in the church newsletter and are open to all who are interested.
Our 10 a.m. Wednesday morning book study will start up again September 22.
Fellowship groups
Christian Women's Fellowship Christian Women's Fellowship meets monthly for study, fellowship and service. They usually meet on the first Thursday of each month and all women are invited to join them. Disciples on Wheels Disciples on Wheels is a group that enjoys camping together for a few days once a month from March to October. It is open to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, fun and fellowship. Recreational vehicles are not necessary. Accomodations are available in nearby hotels. Connections Connections offers opportunities to meet new friends and to deepen friendships with others. Groups of eight to ten people gather once a month for four months. Then the groups change and new connections are formed over the next four months.
