Sunday mornings - Winter 2010

For adults

9 a.m.  Bible study on the book of Revelation 

For children
(during the 10:15 a.m. Sunday worship)

Children (ages 3-7) leave worship after the children's moment to participate in Children Worship and Wonder, a faith-formation experience.
Children (ages 8-12)  leave after the children's moment for their Young Disciples class and return to worship for communion.

For youth

For middle school and high school youth, there are regular opportunities for learning, fellowship and fun.
Middle school youth are currently meeting on Wednesday afternoons.
High schoolers are meeting after worship on Sundays for lunch and conversation.
In addition to our local church programs, there are regional youth events  such as snow rally, regional prom, and summer camp. There are also opportunities to serve the wider community and world with a spring break mission trip and fall food drive.

Weekday education

Various workshops and classes are held throughout the year to build and strengthen faith foundations and empower us to live and serve faithfully.These growth opportunities are announced in the church newsletter and are open to all who are interested. This winter we have a Wednesday morning book study in which members of the group read the book aloud and discuss it.

Fellowship groups

Christian Women's Fellowship
Christian Women's Fellowship meets monthly for study, fellowship and service. They meet on the first Thursday of each month and all women are invited to join them.
Disciples on Wheels
Disciples on Wheels is a group that enjoys camping together for a few days once a month from March to October. It is open to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, fun and fellowship. Recreational vehicles are not necessary; some stay in nearby hotels.
Connections
Connections offers opportunities to meet new friends and to deepen friendships with others. Groups of eight to ten people gather once a month for four months. Then the groups change and new connections are formed over the next four months.
