Patricia Carol Evans was born and raised in Oregon. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Chapman University in Orange,
CA. Following her graduation she attended Southern Oregon University and
received her secondary teaching certificate. She did her seminary training and earned her Master of Divinity degree from the School of Theology in Claremont, CA. Since her ordination in 1980 she has served three congregations of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) including the Artesia Christian Church in Artesia, CA and the First Christian Church of Selma, CA. Patricia began her current ministry as the Senior Pastor of the First Christian Church of Albany, Oregon in November of 2003. Patty, as she is known to most folk, is a musician who plays the piano, guitar, cello and psaltery. She enjoys experimenting with Zentangle drawings, loves to read and has traveled to more than 20 countries around the world. Although she is single, she delight in being close to her extended family. Her parents and her brother, John, and his family live in Corvallis, where John is pastor of the First Christian Church. Her sister, Holly and her family live in Hidden Valley Ranch, CA and oldest brother Steve and his family live in Lapwai, Idaho.
